The West Highland Terrier is a happy and bright breed. They are well suited to ball games, agility dog sports as well as intelligence games. The often stubborn nature of the terrier requires a consistent but loving education. His care, though short coat, requires special attention. The coat should be trimmed regularly and shorn in the summer. The prevention and treatment of allergies, dental, bone and liver diseases can be supported by special foods and snacks. More food especially for the needs of smaller dogs can be found here.
