We got this for our food-obsessed cat. BUT-there are major flaws: - Cat can see the food in the clear "tank" part. He constantly tries to open it to get to that food. Drives him crazy. - If you shake or bump the feeder, a few pieces of food escape the dispenser part. So our cat was constantly trying to attack the feeder in hopes of extra food falling out. He would also reach into the dispenser part trying to grab more. We put it in the closet and went back to normal feeding.

1. One of my cat knows how to put her nose into the throw hole and reach the food when shouldn't. 2. If you hit device (a small ball hits device), some food falls out from device when it shouldn't. 3. If you use USB as a charging cable and there is no electricity at home longer than ~15 SECONDS, you have to set all settings AGAIN. Otherwise, your pet will get 5 portions (~50 gr.) five times a day.. Seems like party! I have two devices (for two cats), not the best solution because of 1-2 reasons

It is a very good choice if you need small portions for your pet. It is 25ml per portion I counted it in gr and its 10 gr. Extra careful with the trixie's manual is not very good. After setting the feeding times keep ok button pressed until you see 'PORTION' on the screen, then the feeder is ready.
