Please note: Please store in a cool dry place, out of the sunlight. Greenwoods Meadow Hay is a natural, untreated product so it can look slightly different, depending on when it is harvested. Varying shades of green, yellow stalks or a paler colour are not signs of inferior quality. Good hay can be distinguished by smell and consistency. Quality hay will smell fresh and pleasant and will include very few, if any, hard, coarse plant components.

As hay is a natural product, consistency may vary with the season.

Fussy piggies never liked it.
My fussy boars didn’t like this hay at all. I tried mixing it with their normal hay but they just pulled it out their hay trays and peed all over it. Don’t think there is anything wrong with this hay just my fussy boars didn’t like it at all. :-(

Ok
After seeing some mixed reviews I thought I would give it a try. It was ok, my guinea pigs didn’t particularly love it and there was a lot of dust at the bottom of the bag. I won’t buy it again.

Good
I bought this hay to use as nesting material for my hamster, and am generally quite pleased with what I received. It smells sweet, has a nice colour, and was also a very good price. The only reason I removed a star is because it does seem to be rather dusty.

guinea pigs love it!
bought for my piggies as a treat instead of timothy hay. lovely and green, smells delicious, relatively dust free (I, and some of my pigs, have dust allergies and we had no problems). The apple one has tiny pieces of dried apple which everyone appreciated, but should therefore only be a treat and not a staple. is all cut quite short so a bit messy when using mesh racks, but that makes it lovely and soft. but overall, all 6 of my guinea pigs approve! will definitely be buying again

Looks fine but Piggies not a fan
Smells and looks fine but my guinea pigs appear to be turning their noses up at it! Shame but we'll see if they warm up to it

Bunny approved
After trying the mix flavour option, my bunny decided apple was her favourite(wierd cos she hates apple anywhere else!). She climbs in the bag and tries to steal it whenever she can!

A real treat for hamsters
My hamsters simply love this hay. It's soft and doesn't have any pointy ends or hard stalks. It's great for nesting. I would definitely recommend it, it's worth every penny.

Our guinea pigs love it
As soon as they smell the new hay they start to burrow in it. It is lovely and green, dry and smells very pleasant.

Pity
I bought the trial pack because it sounds like a great product but sadly my three rabbits do not like it which is a real shame.

Super idea
I stumbled across this product by chance and thought it looked really good. It's a really good idea. As soon as the parcel with all varieties arrived I gave my rabbits some. They were very interested in it and enjoyed eating it as well. I will definitely order this again.

All varieties are great
I ordered all of the varieties for my hamster and for my dwarf rabbits. Apple, dandelion and carrot were gone within a few days. Absolutely amazing. My pets love it.
