Product description

Striped sunflower seeds for wild birds. These energy-rich, premium quality seeds are perfect for feeding overwintering birds.

Overwintering birds need a diet rich in energy to get through the cold season. Frost and snow restrict their natural food intake, and urbanisation makes it increasingly difficult for them to survive on natural food sources. Especially in cities, wild birds benefit from supplementary feeding.

Lillebro Sunflower Seeds for Wild Birds are a nutritious and energy-rich food which helps wild birds to cope with chilly winters. A natural source of vitamins and rich in oils, sunflower seeds are an important part of the supplementary wild bird diet.

We recommend that you protect the bird feeding place from wind, rain and snow and clean it regularly. This will encourage the wild birds in your garden to keep coming back for more.

Feeding recommendation
As well as feeding the wild birds, please make sure that they also have water and somewhere to shelter. This will help to make them feel welcome and secure, and also encourage them to return.

Birds did not like.
I purchased six bags of these for my garden birds, I love feeding them, love their colours. Very relaxing to watch them I find, I always feed them, They would not eat these for some reason, had to throw out the field,

OP, but lots of sticks, stalks...
the lovebirds like them, but I remove a large handful of inedible debris from each bag. one all the wooden stalks etc are removed, that's about 10% of the volume gone as waste

Good Value
The birds quite like these but not their favorite. However the packs were split at the base so caused some mess on the floor. Not wasted though as through onto the patio.

The birds really like this
I only ordered the sunflower seeds to make up the price for free delivery ;-) and it turns out that it was really worth it. The tits, sparrows and green finches are picking away like mad and the pigeons are enjoying it too. I cracked some of the seeds for the baby sparrows who are in the bird house on my balcony and they loved them. I can really recommend this product.

Quite a lot of husks
The last lot of seed did not impress me. There seemed to be a lot of empty husks and left-overs from something – don't know what. I was really disappointed as the previous order was fine. I don't think I'll be buying these again.

Really popular
The birds in our garden really like sunflower seeds. And we really like watching all the birds that visit our garden to snack on them.
