URINARY S/O is a complete dietetic feed for dogs formulated to dissolve struvite stones and reduce their recurrence through its urine acidifying properties, a low level of magnesium and a restricted level of protein, but of high quality.
Note: Please ensure your dog has correct kidney function before you give your dog Royal Canin Veterinary - Urinary S/O LP 18.
Indications:
- Dissolution of struvite crystals and stones
- Bacterial cystitis
- Prophylaxis of calcium oxalate stones
- Prophylaxis of struvite stones
Contraindications:
- Chronic renal failure, metabolic acidosis
- Heart failure
- Hyperlipidemie
- Pancreatitis
- Parallel use of urine acidifying medication
- Pregnant or lactating bitches

Changing your pet's diet and length of treatment:
Your pet will need to stay on this diet for 5 to 12 weeks, or until the stones are dissolved. If your pet is suffering from a bladder infection it should stay on this diet for at least a month after diagnosis.
