It has a particularly high chicken meat content (65%) and also contains a special combination of nutrients that can help to protect joints, including Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids that have an anti-inflammatory effect, combined with glucosamine and chondroitin that can help to combat abrasive wear on joints and cartilage. Added vitamin D can help to promote healthy bones as it regulates the transport and accumuation of minerals in the body.

The manufacturing process uses only fresh and natural ingredients. The chicken used in this food comes from farms that produce human food-grade chicken. Chicken is the only animal protein in this food (mono-protein), which makes it very good for dogs with sensitive digestion or allergies. Optimanova’s high-tech manufacturing systems allow fresh meat to be included in this dog food instead of meat that has been frozen. This process leads to lower denaturation of the proteins and fats and maintains its first-class protein quality.
