To help minimise chances of such a reaction Hill’s Prescription Diet Canine d/d Food Sensitivities Duck & Rice uses novel protein sources (new to your dog).
Thanks to specially selected protein and carbohydrate sources, this complete dry dog food is easy to digest. High quality protein from duck as well as carbohydrates from ground rice are gentle on the stomach, while a high level of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids can support a healthy skin and coat. To round out the recipe, there is a balanced mixture of vitamins, minerals, trace elements, beta carotene, and natural oxidants that may contribute to a healthy immune system as well as the proper maintenance of vital functions.

No more itchy dirty ears
My mom took me to a new vet as I always had ear infections and dirty ears. Before this the treatment was always expensive ear drops and cleaners.. The new vet recommended this food and I now no longer shake my head and my ear problems have cleared up. Also my coat is lovely and glossy.

Murphy's Experience
My Mum took me to the vet because I was losing my fur and I had an itchy skin. The nice lady at the vets said I should try Hills DD Prescription diet and me being a Labrador, I was very happy to try anything! Anyway, its working, my fur is starting to grow back and my itchy bits are not so itchy. My Mum says that Zooplus are very good as their prices are low and the delivery is very quick. Ordered on Thursday and the nice man delivered all my dinners on Saturday!

Brilliant
My dog is visibly intolerant to gluten, but since he's been on the d/d dry food his ears are far less dirty!! So far he has had no more ear infections, and in short I am thrilled :)

I am very happy
I am very happy with this food. For me it has some great advantages: it is in large packs and lasts for a long time. In terms of kg it's really cheap, and my dog has no problem with digesting the food.

My dog loves it
My dog has allergies but loves this dry food. He tolerates it perfectly.

Wonderful!
Since I've been feeding this to my dog, I've had far fewer skin problems and the ear infections are far less frequent.

So great
Problems of diarrhoea have improved but he remains very sensitive. The only problem is that there's only one flavour and he sometimes gets bored of this one. We would like more flavours.

From Eukanuba to Hills
Our Rottweiler Nahla first got Eukanuba Puppy Large Breed. After about 16-18 months she started to have regular vomiting and depression. We switched to Eukanuba Rottweiler but the problems remained and she also developed dandruff. Despite medicines from the vet Nahla was still throwing up. Tests and gastroscopic biopsies showed that she had a severe stomach inflammation. The vet advised us to use DD Hills. After about 1-2 months the vomiting stopped! With Hills DD not only do we have our normal dog back, but she's super healthy with a beautiful shiny coat and lots of energy!

Excellent!
My Sharpei has had skin and digestive problems since forever. I think this food has not only stopped his gastric symptoms but he looks healthy and has shiny fur. Oh and he loves it!!

For gastritis
My 7 month old Rottweiler had gastritis problems. With Hill's DD it was solved. Fantastic!

Allergic dog
Our dog's paws were constantly inflamed and wounded, it was very painful for the poor thing. His condition began to improve within about 3-4 days of feeding him this. Now we've been using it for about one and a half months and there is no more inflammation or oozing etc. Slowly the paws are healing and the thickened skin is becoming smoother. Unexpected positive side effects include less wind and better poops :-)
