Product description

Dietetic Urinary dry food for cats, to dissolve struvite stones, uric acidifying, adapted mineral content, protein-rich & tasty, low-allergen recipe without wheat & soya

Virbac Vet HPM Cat Urology Struvite Dissolution U1 is a complete veterinary food for adult cats designed to dissolve struvite stones.

The dietary dry food has uric acidifying properties to promote an acidic pH of the urine. This can promote the breakdown of existing urinary stones. In addition, an adjusted mineral content can help to reduce the components of struvite in the urine. Virbac Veterinary HPM Cat Urology Struvite Dissolution U1 is rich in protein and particularly tasty, making it a favourite with many velvet paws.

Virbac Vet HPM Cat Urology Struvite Dissolution U1 at a glance:
  • Dietary complete food for cats to dissolve struvite stones
  • Urinary acidifying: contributes to acidic urine pH, promoting the dissolution of existing struvite crystals
  • Adjusted mineral content: low in magnesium, for the formation of urine undersaturated for struvite
  • Richin protein : mainly from animal sources, for a species-appropriate diet
  • Increased fluid intake: high protein and sodium content can promote increased water intake by the cat; this increases the volume and frequency of urination
  • Chitosan: phosphate binding properties
  • Free from wheat, gluten, maize, soya, eggs and beef
  • Tasty recipe: high acceptance by many cats
