Product description

Dry cat food for British Shorthair kittens between 2-12 months, with an antioxidant complex rich in vitamin E to support the immune system and L.I.P. proteins and prebiotics to support digestion.

Your British Shorthair kitten's growth phase is a time of many changes and new discoveries. Providing optimum nutrition is a key factor in healthy growth, helping this breed develop its typically strong, muscular body without becoming overweight.

Tailored nutrition is essential in developing and supporting a healthy immune system, so Royal Canin British Shorthair Kitten contains an antioxidant complex with vitamin E that helps to support natural bodily defences.

The digestive system is also developing in the first 12 months of life, with high-quality protein essential in this growth. Royal Canin British Shorthair Kitten offers L.I.P. proteins, which are easy to digest. It also contains prebiotics such as FOS, which help support balanced intestinal flora and optimum digestion.

RC Kitten vs RC BSH Kitten
My kitten is eating the original version of RC Kitten food (this is the food I got from the breeder) and now the question is which food has better ingredients and is there any difference between the original kitten food and the one for British kitten? I can't find any combination of these two foods on the internet and mine is about to run out and I don't know which one to buy 🤔

My cat has chronic diarrhoea
My BSH has been eating royal canine kitten until 6 months old . I changed his dry food to Purizon which is the beginning of his soft stool and diarrhoea.Without finishing the pack, I bought this RC BSH kitten for him, hopefully he will recover eventually . After 3 months on this food nothing has changed. Went to the vet , she said must be something to do with his diet changed. I threw away the leftovers of this food, and give a try on RC digestive care, which is the life saver !!

They’re doing something right.
My BSH kitten arrived from the breeder along with a bag of this kibble. I wasn’t happy with some of the ingredients, rice, maize, unspecified ‘poultry’, so tried a Thrive kibble, which gave my kitten constant bloating and diarrhoea, so put him back on this food, and he recovered, and is back to normal, I’m sticking with RC!

The grown ups like it too
The cats have really taken to it. The really small one not just yet but then she's only 10 weeks old. Even the pensioners can't get enough of it.

Loves this food!
My kitten was fussy with this product at first, didn't eat much. I always left some out for her, put out fresh food every morning and now it is her favorite food Will be giving it to her till she is 1 year old. It is also great for their teeth.

Great for my British Shorthair kittens
My vet recommended this food for my kittens. Osmose and Otomne are chuffed to bits with it, and share the same bowl every day without any trouble ! Nice to see

Kitte food
Been using for a few years, kittens and adults like it, the adults prefer this to there own adult biscuits. Also find bitiba dose the best price. Oh and delivery is always on time with yodel, they text to let you know a time frame, normally a two hour window.

Paws up from my fussy kitten
I have a very fussy BSH kitten who is used to eat raw chicken but now I'd like to give her half half with commercial cat food. I try all kinds of brands, and though she eat most of them (and refuses some), she never quite finished the commercial food - while she licks the bowl clean with raw chicken. This is the first dry food that she finished quite happily, so it seems to work! I've tried the generic Royal Canin for kitten and it was okay, but the result with this BSH specific one seems better

Help - not eating any
I was told my kitten was fully weaned on Royal canine kitten kibble so I purchased the British blue short hair kitten to match my kitten - after 5 days he will not touch this or the other royal canine kibble which the breeder gave me - tonight I ended up soaking some in some hot water then mashing up with the wet food and he finally ate some - I am unsure what to do as I purchased the biggest bag of this to save money and time for re-ordering / this Is the only thing my kitten is not taking too at his new home - he loves his toys - wet food , water and litter tray It's unfair for me to review this until he has properly settled in

Perfect for my kitten
I fed my BSH the normal kitten kibble from Royal Canin when I just got him but went onto the breed variety after a month. While he loved both kibbles, he definitely took his time with the breed ones and started to leave the normal variety. His coat is nice and glossy and he has never left his bowl full.
