Smilla Tender Poultry at a glance:
No grain, gluten-free: The grain-free recipe does not put unnecessary burden on your cat's digestive system, which is not designed to process large quantities of grain.
With vitamins and minerals: Vitamins and minerals play a vital role in your cat's nutrition. Vitamin D supports the regulation of calcium levels, which is important for the bone structure. Vitamin A and E promotes healthy eyesight, skin and coat.
With taurine: Taurine is an essential nutrient for cats, but their bodies cannot produce sufficient quantities of it. It has added taurine to help support your cat's healthy eyesight and heart function.
Gently prepared: The carefully selected ingredients are combined cold and then gently cooked. This preserves the natural and delicious flavour.
No added sugars, flavourings or preservatives: Smilla Tender Poultry contains no added sugar, flavour enhancers or preservatives.
Can your cat hardly wait to eat its Smilla wet cat food? Smilla is a high quality, grain-free complete food that provides an irresistibly mouth watering experience for connoisseur cats. Smilla comes in a variety of flavours - something for every palate. The recipes are free from sugar, taste enhancers, preservatives, soya and lactose. Smilla comes in both meaty and fishy flavours. Natural ingredients, healthy vitamins and taurine provide your cat with all the nutrients it needs.
Smilla Tender Poultry will not only treat your cat, it will also provide a healthy, balanced diet.

Feeding guide
Feeding recommendation:
Food quantities given are recommendations and should be adjusted according to the individual needs in order to maintain ideal body weight.
Please ensure your pet always has fresh drinking water.
My two cats/kittens now juniors loved it first, but would gone off it very quickly,so had to change food every second/third day. Not sure why, probably depends on their mood and appetite. They are half outdoor cats so as I said could be factor of everything. One thing I don't like it has loads of fat builded up on the bottom of tin,but found solution for that too as where I live there are two ferrel cats and they love any leftovers,so that way I have 0 waste which is kind of satisfying in the end

Not very impressed
both kittens seem to have gone off this at the same time. Tolerated it to start with but now won't touch it even when they're hungry ..

Good quality and value, but cat doesn’t love it
My cat loved Animonda Carny but t gave her digestive issues so we switched. She doesn’t love Smilla- she will lick at it but very reluctantly eat it. Pity, as it’s good quality and value

Ragdolls love it, Persian just ok
The tender chicken tins go down better, and they all seem to love the tuna and sardine tins. They are not as dry as the tuna only ones. I rotate tins randomly with other 3 wet food brands, so that I won't be stuck when they stop eating one for some strange reason we humans will never get.

Nice for a snack
My cat loves this. It is quite dry so you should add water to it when you serve it (I always add water to my cat's food anyway). My cat is very fussy and gets bored easily so I only feed him a little of this every now and then.

Smelled great!
First time a cat food I gave my 2cats(8month,3yr black) actually smelt like human food. Sadly they turned up their nose. It could have been the texture. Their usual diet is Felix and Gourmet (which I'm trying to change) and they don't like Sheba. So if your cats are like mine they might not like this.

Cats not keen
Foolishly bought the enormous tins not realising quite how big they were. food is very dry very difficult to get out of the tin, cats didn't really like it stuck with loads of giant tins now, not sure what to do with them

A good value food
My cat really enjoys this, he does get bored so I only order the 200g tins. He eats this food when put down and often 'screams' to say more please. It has also had the seal of approval from a sneaky doggy.
I will be ordering more trial packs, I simply don't need the amount required to order each flavour individually.

Good for sensitive tums
This was my cats favourite food as a kitten and it was one of the few foods that didn't give him digestive problems. Unfortunately as an adult he has gone off it, not a fault of the food as he was fed this for around eight months.

Well digested and tasty
Both of my 12 week old cats like Smilla a lot, and they're digesting it mostly fine. The little boy did throw up a little bit of the Poultry Pot with Poultry Hearts, but the others have all been great.

My 3 cats love Smilla!!!
My three cats love boxes smilla poultry & beef and poultry & poultry heart, they like the other ones a bit less though. The boxes are 200g for 3 cats, might be better if there were also 100g boxes for smaller appetites.

My farm cat loves this...
... but my other big cat doesn't like it at all. It seems to be great food though and fantastic value for money. The packaging could be clearer, so minus 1 star for that.

Smilla Poultry Pot with Fish
My cat Shady has always loved Animonda Carny I tried her for the first time with Smilla and she loves it. She's quite fussy and doesn't eat every food you give her. Smilla smells good, actually better than the Animonda Carny stuff, and looks good too. No sugar or grains is also a plus for us. If she keeps being this happy with it, I'll definitely keep buying this in the future.

Good food. Pity about the smell.
My cats love this food and I've been feeding it in rotation with Bozita and Animonda wet foods (with Cosma and Applaws thrown in occasionally for extra variety).
The only problem is that this food absolutely stinks! I seriously feel like I'm going to vomit every time I open a can, and this is enough for me to avoid buying it in the future.
It's a pity though, because it is otherwise a great food that's great value.

Brilliant, she loves it
Brilliant food, as soon as I opened the can my cat was trying to get her nose in! Bought 24 200g cans I'm 100% sure not one bite will go to waste. Highly recommend this food, reasonable meat content too for it's price. It's like a hard pate which I think she likes, easy to chew.

Good quality and value
My tom cat loved the poultry pots and preferred them over the fish pots. I think he got too used to eating the tunafish as part of fish pots and never always finished it. Didn't get bored of these through!
