Varnish
This is a pretty little table but I have only just hung it outside so I have yet to see whether the birds are put off by the roof being so low to the feeding area. The MOST important thing I can say to others buying this is to give the whole thing (minus the food area) 2 coats of Exterior/Yacht varnish before you put it outside.

disapppointing
it may look pretty but it's not been successful. purchased in january, some of the staples ! holding the roof sdtabiliser on were loose and missing and had to do some minor repairs. i have dozens of birds all the time, but they aren't using this feeder at all. closest to the front of garden so i'll try moving it, but not a success. looks nice though.
