Obsessed
Our cat is absolutely obsessed with these little toys. Ordering three more packs immediately!!
The little watch type batteries do die fairly quickly but can be replaced.

Great idea, but works for few minutes
My kitten loved it, but three pieces stopped working less than one hour in use. We tried to change their batteries, but not happened.
Very sad because the idea is amazing… it needs improvement!

1 out of three is bad!
We received 2 broken / not working bugs and one that worked for a total of 5 minutes. And by not working, I mean they literally broke apart in my hands. I threw them out. The cats were interested ... but the one working one died before the playing really began. Very disappointed. Absolutely not worth the money.

Keeps them entertained for ages!
I've got 6 cats and they all love these, especially the beetles. Some of them are more fascinated, following them around and occasionally tentatively prodding, rather than pouncing.

Ok for the price.
I ordered 2 of these and I wasn't pleased that the battery on one went within 5 minutes and the other didn't work at all. After buying batteries I let my girls play with them and they seemed to like them. The yellow bug goes very slowly and sort of round in circles. The purple one was faster and did just go round and round. They are very easy to flip over and I found myself flipping them back several times but my girls liked them and had fun playing with them which was the point of getting them so worth it for the price.

Crazy Bug Fun
Bought these for our year old Maine Coon and he loves them , we have bought moving toys before and they were greeted with complete disinterest
( ball in a bag)
Switched on a bug and he was there instantly , a little wary at first but then , followed the bug around for ages , now after a few hours he pokes and plays , flips it over and carries it around the house in his mouth , holds his interest even when switched off , it's his new favourite , inexpensive fun

Not bad! could be better.
Got the Beetle, but it just keeps going round in small circles, I have a large decorative pot, get the Beetle to go round and round the base of the pot, which is quite exciting for the cat as the beetle moves out of sight and this is the exciting bit.

4 cats 1 bee..
All my cats love this. One will just watch from a distance but they are all interested. Works great on laminate and even turned off the kittens will still play with it. Simple and effective!

Not a hit
Cats looked at it and then walked away. Seems to work ok but goes round in circles and both cats were pretty "meh" about it (ladybird bug)

My Cat is Not Interested
I've just tried this type of toy with my cat and neither battery type ones I bought seem to interest him. I used this one on a kitchen floor which has pretty flat carpet tiles and it did not move around so I would recommend a hardfloor only. I put it in a box my cat plays in, and it did move around but DC looked at it and then at me as if to say, really this is the best you can do. He likes to chase the dangler toys or ball so I'll stick to those.

Great product bad battery life
I received the lady bug version and it was great on wooden flooring (although a little noisy)and I found it had all of the movements promised by the description, such as scuttering and turning around, and my cat loved it. However the battery ran out after half an hour which was really disappointing! I've read in a previous review that you can purchase replacement batteries and I will probably look at buying some. I contacted the customer service team to discuss this and they were extremely helpful and I would give them a 5* review.

Got 3 bees
We purchased 3 of these bugs for our cats and received 3 bees (was hoping for a ladybug)
One of the bees had a sharp broken wing, one didn't work and the third one was LOTS of fun, until one of our cats broke off the plastic wings (choking hazard should a cat decide to try to eat one of the wings, one of our cats is a biter, he enjoys chewing EVERYTHING)
After removing any sharp edges of the broken wing, the bug no longer worked, but started going in tiny circles.
Out of 3 only one worked for very short time. Wouldn't recommend, unless you are lucky enough to get the ladybug or beetle.

Purple beetle
Get rid of the Bee and keep the ladybird or purple beetle. My cat enjoyed this toy. Great on the lino or wooden floors. The battery did run low quickly, however you can buy a pack of 20 batteries to fit this from Poundland so no big deal for the cats amusement.

The best fun ever
My little lady absolutely loves her purple buggy bug. She spends ages chasing him on my laminate flooring. She bats him with her paw to make him change direction and flips him over and over. My other cat is not a playful boy but will allow approx 5 mins of his time to bat the bug Which to be fair is an excellent review from him.I just wish I could get a full set rather than randomly selected.but definitely 10/10 in entertainment for all of us.

Fantastico!
These are the best toys my 3 cats have ever seen (and they have LOTS of moving toys)!! Both M + F 12-yr olds + young kitten go mad over the purple beetle. It needs a hard floor + if it stops too quickly, just turn the tiny screw a bit and it goes again. It stops after about 10 mins to cool down, but that works fine because they still try to make it move again. Even on its back it whirrs around and has them all baffled and mad with energy. I will get a few more "bugs" so that when they chase it into a corner and it's lost for a bit, I have another one ready.

My cats love the purple beetle!
This toy provided hours of entertainment after arriving this morning! It's darting all over my vinyl kitchen floor and both cats are obsessed with it. Even when they flip it on it's back, it still moves, just not as far. Great idea.
